It looks like the Apprenticeship Program is off the ground with a start date of July 2008-- we have enough applicants to run this new arrangement of our program for those who cannot relocate to Bridgton, Maine! We are still accepting late applications but please let us know of your intention to apply as soon as possible. For more informationclick here. Birthwise Midwifery

If you are interested in learning more about attending Birthwise Midwifery School, we encourage you to explore this website thoroughly, or contact Birthwise directly via e-mail, phone, or mail. We love prospective students to come visit the school and sit in on classes for a day to help them determine whether Birthwise is the right program for them. We are currently accepting applications for our Apprenticeship Program and our original fall start program .

Doula Training Opportunity at Birthwise

A DONA approved doula training workshop is scheduled for May 16, 17, 18 at Birthwise Midwifery School. Contact Birthwise for details!

Thinking of becoming a midwife?

Come to our one-day workshop designed to introduce you to the world of midwifery, birth outside the hospital, and the options for education. Our next workshop is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 9:00-2:00. The cost is $40.00. Contact Birthwise to register!
